In bloom
Luxury British accessories brand Aspinal of London has just released its Story 2 collection, which takes inspiration from a tale of first romance, rich in the allure of 60s French cinema. The Umbrellas of Cherbourg, released in 1964, tells the story of an ill-fated romance between a mechanic and umbrella shop owner in a French harbour town. This historic film fizzes with a charming 60s swing, and features incredibly eye-catching and colourful cinematography, which Aspinal has absorbed in its new range. The new Spring Showers Collection places ‘the narrative power of colour at its heart’ in a vibrant and timeless collection. Prices vary, see Aspinal of London for details
