The Waterfront Collection

Crockett & Jones goes in search of the sea.

Looking for “white stone, bobbing boats, swaying masts and clear skies,” the brand heads to Croatia, a European country renowned for its picturesque fishing ports and whitewash waterfronts. Here, in the first release of the season, is the setting for the launch of two styles: an introduction of something totally new, and a relaxed reinvention of one of its well-loved classics.

First up is the Falmouth β€”Β the new kid on the block, which represents the brand’s proposition for a summer boat shoe. Building on its own rich heritage and expertise, Crockett & Jones has drawn together aspects of the Loafer and the Derby alongside its novel wedge rubber sole. The brand explains how “this made it an exciting proposition for us, given that even the sharpest of footwear entrepreneurs couldn’t have predicted the incredible growth of loafers over the past 20 years.” Possibly the most comfortable shoe you’ll ever own.

The Bibury, on the other hand, is its relaxed reinvention of The Chukka. Coupling a one-piece, all-round pattern with attractive facing that sweeps into a butted seam apron, this piece has all the hallmarks of a Crockett & Jones classic. Similarly bolstered by the brand’s new wedge rubber sole, in the brand’s own words: “Bilbury proudly takes our classic Chukka collection up a notch.”

Where will it take you this summer?
