Star Power

Chef Dana on the Great British Menu.

We got a real kick out of watching Chef Dana Choi on the Great British Menu last month. Bringing true star power to the table, she created a series of inventive dishes inspired by the magic of British cinema. You can now experience one of these for yourself at Jang, our first-floor mezzanine restaurant, which specialises in fine contemporary Korean and Japanese cuisine. Book your table here.

Jang says how “it was a very proud moment watching Dana representing London on the BBC series, showcasing three of her standout dishes. She only very narrowly missed out on progressing to the next round. A fantastic achievement as the first ever Korean chef to participate.” We couldn’t agree more: the episode was a fantastic tribute to this star chefโ€™s talent and dedication to her craft.

To celebrate this, Jang are offering her fish course “Notting Hill Garden” for you to try: a Sea Bream Mulhoe, available at Jang across lunch and dinner. The restaurant explains how “this yearโ€™s theme was a tribute to British cinema, and Danaโ€™s dish takes inspiration from memorable scenes in the cult romcom Notting Hill.” It certainly captures the magic and romance of that classic movie โ€” sure to follow in its footsteps as a firm favourite.
