Party On
The return of the Engel Burlesque.
School’s in, sure. But September doesn’t mean the fun has to stop. Keep the holiday feels well into the new month with nothing less than… (drum roll, please)… the return of Engel Burlesque. On 25 September, this fantastic evening returns to Engel. We can’t wait — book your tickets now.
The night is now legendary in the capital for bringing the 20s roaring back to life in full technicolour. All of the bar’s trademark irreverence is here to indulge in: “expect a night of glamour, tease and temptation featuring tap-dancing chanteur Darren Charles, burlesque icons Didi Derriere & Vicky Butterfly, and powerhouse vocals from Kimberly Nicole & Band.” A festival of City allure.
Such dazzling performances and powerful live music would be enough for most, but Engel never does things by halves. Accompanying this irresistible entertainment is a delicious food menu worthy of any self-described bon viveur, with Currywurst Bites or Crispy Baby Squid to start, followed by a delicious 200g Sirloin Steak. Sizzling!
