Let’s face it, the past couple of years haven’t been the easiest. But with the start of a new year brings a sense of renewed hope and beginnings. And while remote and hybrid working is set to become the norm, we are opening our doors at The Royal Exchange and encouraging people to fall back in love with the City in 2022.

Last year we celebrated our milestone 450th anniversary. But as we head into a new year, we are looking forwards towards the future. ‘Love The City’ is all about embracing our heritage, our neighbourhood, and what The Royal Exchange is today. It is also about championing our luxury brands and services – and inviting people to experience them first-hand, to fall in love with bricks-and-mortar shopping all over again.

So, what do we have in store for you? Coming later this winter is an exclusive photography exhibition and masterclass with influencer duo Pretty Little London. The Instagram snappers will show you the ropes on taking the perfect shot inside our picture-perfect building, and we’ll even be hosting an exclusive photography exhibition at the same time.

With Valentine’s Day around the corner, we will certainly be feeling the love come February. Our retailers will have plenty of romantic gift ideas to delight and inspire, and we will be preparing a luxury Valentine’s package exclusive to The Royal Exchange. And for all the single ladies and lads out there, we will also be hosting an exclusive speed-dating event in the City later this year.

It wouldn’t be a stretch to say that stepping inside our spectacular building is an experience akin to love at first sight. And even if it’s the 1000th time you’ve visited, those feelings of awe and inspiration remain. As we encourage people to love the City and discover its myriad hidden gems, we will be making the experience of shopping, dining and socialising at The Royal Exchange that bit more joyful with a soon-to-be-launched series of lunchtime concerts in our courtyard. Details are still to be announced so just keep those eyes (and ears!) open.
