Korean Thanksgiving

Celebrate Chuseok at Jang.

The fine-dining restaurant doesn’t do things by halves โ€”ย and so we’re thrilled that Jang celebrates all the key Korean diary dates with its trademark elevated, modern take on the country’s cuisine. Its recent Samgyetang event was a smash hit,ย and Chuseok, the Thanksgiving celebration, looks set to be even better.

Held a bit earlier than its American counterpart, on Friday 13th September, Chuseok is a food and drink-fuelled festival celebrating a bountiful harvest. For this, Chef Dana has prepared a modern take on the traditional feast, featuring tteok-galbi barbecued shortrib, pan-fried red mullet, fluke fish hwe with chojang sauce, courgette jeon, japchae noodles, mixed mushroom namul, endive kimchi, beef and daikon soup, rice and yakbab sweet rice cake to finish.

Priced at ยฃ40 per person, this set menu is going to be exclusively available at lunch and dinner on the big day. Quantities are limited, so youโ€™ll want to move fast: book nowย โ€”ย and make sure to add the reference “Chuseok” to your booking notes โ€”ย via this link.
