WHAT’S NEW THIS SEPTEMBER
From Ladurée’s famous macarons to a new art installation by Nicholas Law, there are many reasons to visit The Royal Exchange this month
RECONNECT
As the City reawakens, we invite you to reconnect with each other at The Royal Exchange this autumn. From fine dining at The Fortnum’s Bar and Restaurant to the uplifting fragrances to be discovered at Jo Malone London, the softest silk scarves at Hermès and the dazzling jewellery designs on display at Tiffany & Co., rediscover the joy of sensory experiences within our welcoming boutiques and eateries.
Our artist-in-residence series continues, with a specially commissioned artwork by Nicholas Law installed at the main entrance. Inspired by the theme of reconnecting, Law’s interlinking, circular graphics and dark to light colour gradients are a calming reminder of the cyclical nature of life and the interconnected world we live in. Read our Q&A with Law here.
Celebrating the vitality of community, we’ve partnered with Mind in the City to explore the important topic of mental health, interviewing members of the City of London community about their approach to wellbeing and who they turn to when they need a helping hand. Read the first interview in our What’s On Your Mind? series here.

LOST IN WONDER
Jo Malone London’s Lost In Wonder collection, new for autumn/winter, was inspired by the ancient Hanging Gardens and introduces two new scents to its range of fragrances. The Fig & Lotus Flower cologne is a light floral fragrance featuring fig, lotus flower and vetiver, while the Cypress & Grapevine Cologne Intense combines aromatic and sensual woody notes with fresh, verdant and earthy moss. The two scents can also be worn together to create an invigorating combination of spicy cypress and luscious figs. COMING SOON… SIRPLUS
The Royal Exchange is delighted to welcome menswear brand Sirplus, who will be popping up at The Royal Exchange later this month. The menswear brand started out selling boxer shorts made from surplus shirt fabrics at Portobello Market in 2010, and now offers a far wider range of clothing, from T-shirts and shirts to knitwear, jackets, gilets and waistcoats. Continuing to use surplus fabrics as much as possible, the brand eschews short term trends to design pieces that embody quality and longevity.
Sirplus will be open at The Royal Exchange from mid-September, situated on Threadneedle Street
