    TIME FOR BOND

Be one of the first to preview Omega's special edition 007 timepiece at The Royal Exchange

It’s been more than half a century since secret agent extraordinaire James Bond appeared on our screens in 1962’s Dr No, and 007’s classic British style never goes out of fashion.

As well as the ubiquitous Savile Row tailoring and martini combo, another accessory Bond is never seen without is a sophisticated timepiece. Swiss watchmaker Omega has provided a new 007-worthy edition of its classic Seamaster model for every Bond film since 1995’s GoldenEye.

A quarter of a century on, Omega has done it again with the new Diver 300M 007 Edition, which will appear in the upcoming movie, No Time to Die.

Omega worked closely with both the filmmakers and Bond star Daniel Craig on the design of the 42mm watch, which is crafted from Grade 2 titanium and features a sapphire-crystal glass case.

‘When working with Omega, we decided that a lightweight watch would be key for a military man like 007,’ says Craig of the collaboration. ‘I also suggested some vintage touches and colour to give the watch a unique edge. The final piece looks incredible.’

The new Seamaster is available with a titanium mesh bracelet or striped Nato strap in dark brown, grey and beige with 007 engraved on the loop. It will be added to Omega’s current collection from February before making its big-screen debut when Bond returns this April.
