    ON SET WITH L SAHA

The sustainable womenswear label brings the glamour of London Fashion Week to The Royal Exchange

Sustainable and ethical womenswear label L Saha took over The Royal Exchange this week to shoot a special film for London Fashion Week. Showcasing the brand’s Autumn/Winter 2021 collection, Hymn, the film captures models taking to the ‘catwalk’ on the mezzanine level of The Royal Exchange. The building provides a backdrop of dramatic architectural shapes and historic murals that perfectly complement the soft silhouettes, calming colours and intriguing details of the collection.

Brand founder and creative director Laboni Saha said, ‘An iconic landmark, rich in 450 years of history, heritage and a true monument of resilience – having seen its way through war, fire and other interruptions – The Royal Exchange is a reminder to anyone looking at it, in awe and admiration, that both light and dark days are part of the fabric of life.’

The L Saha ethos is ‘Timeless-True-Luxury’, a statement that reflects the brand’s commitment to follow ‘a holistic set of pro-planet, pro-people principles’. The designs embody an aesthetic of simplicity and sophistication, and are exquisitely crafted from sustainably and ethically sourced materials. L Saha is a look good, feel good luxury label that’s bringing positive change to the way we produce and consume clothing.
