MY CITY: NIKKI TIBBLES
The Wild at Heart florist on the vibrancy of Londoners and walking her dogs bright and early on Hampstead Heath
WHERE IN LONDON DO YOU LIVE AND WORK?
I’ve lived in Notting Hill for 30 years. I have a floristry there and another in Soho, but my work takes me all over the city.
WHAT’S YOUR EARLIEST MEMORY OF LONDON?
I was struck by the colour and clothes that people wore.
WHAT MAKES LONDON SPECIAL TO YOU?
I guess it’s the diversity and the people that I love. Also London’s parks and big open green spaces.
HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE LONDON IN THREE WORDS?
Home, vibrant, green.

WHO IS YOUR FAVOURITE LONDONER?
Richard E. Grant (although I’m not sure that he’s a Londoner!). My favourite film of all time is Withnail and I.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE GREEN SPACE IN LONDON?
Hampstead Heath.
WHAT’S YOUR USUAL MORNING RITUAL?
I get up really early, get in my Mercedes with my dogs and we go to Hyde Park or Hampstead Heath with a black earl grey tea and a protein bar. Once I’m home, I start the working day.
WHAT DO YOU DO TO KEEP A GOOD WORK-LIFE BALANCE?
I walk my dogs, see my friends and cook soup.
WHAT’S THE BEST BOOK YOU’VE READ IN THE PAST SIX MONTHS?
The Hidden Life of Trees by Peter Wohlleben.
WHAT’S THE BEST PIECE OF ADVICE YOU’VE EVER BEEN GIVEN?
My father always said I could do anything if I wanted to.
