We took to the streets surrounding The Royal Exchange to ask the City community to share their thoughts on the topic of love. In this special series, we find out #WhatLoveIs to Londoners today.

“Love works best when people are honest with each other and communicate clearly without any setbacks or beating-around-the-bush. For me, love and care is about honesty, trust and accepting the other person for who they are. You should never compromise yourself for love. I think I’ve done so in the past but all my failed relationships have shown me what to look for and helped me pinpoint what I want and what I’m not willing to put up with. With my partner, it just felt… right. The fact that we can both be as true to each other as we are to ourselves is something rare and great.”
