Grab your finest champagne flute and enjoy.

    YOU WILL NEED

    • 1 white sugar cube
    • Angostura bitters
    • 25ml cognac
    • 125ml champagne
    • A strip of orange zest

    METHOD

    Soak the sugar cube in Angostura bitters, then place it in a chilled champagne glass. Next, pour in the cognac, top up with the champagne, and garnish with the strip of orange zest. Simple, but extraordinary.
