Fall Into Luxury
As the air becomes crisp and the sky full of colour, cosy up with the finer things in life. Autumn brings a true cornucopia: of delicious seasonal ingredients, devilish Halloween specials, NYC-themed fall collections β and a new jewellers.
The darkening skies of October are a portent of doom (and deliciousness). Yes, it’s Spooky Season, where we can indulge our darkest desires for all things luxury. Prepare for a Halloween feast at Fortnum’s, whose hampers are the stuff of dark legend β and swap the traditional pumpkin (dull, vegetable) for a box of LadurΓ©e macaroons (beautiful, elegant, a little bit naughty). And we have a wicked surprise for you in store: Tom Davies has collaborated with Warner Bros. on a collection celebrating Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. You won’t believe your eyes.
But we’re getting ahead of ourselves. Before Halloween, we’ve still a month of foodie heaven to go β as the new season brings forth its bounty of new ingredients. Take a trip through our selection of restaurants’s harvest fare to explore their delightful autumn delicacies: from the return of Roasts and Roasted Butternut Squash Wellingtons at The Libertine to Jang’s Chef Dana working her magic on steamed turbot, celeriac skewers, Korean barbecued wagyu steak, a new Hamachi Tartare and black truffle-laced corn noodles.
Explore autumn in New York as Aspinal of London, Boodles and Montblanc jet off to Manhattan β presenting collections themed by the city’s unique colour palette, art-deco architecture and iconic literature. And say hello to Trotters Jewellers, our newest arrival at The Royal Exchange. For over three decades this family-run brand has built a reputation as solid as its Rolexes, and we’re so excited to have it as a resident.
We’re celebrating, too, the opening of Dr. David Jack, and looking forward to a month of live music at Engel. Make sure you book an appointment with Sartoria Dei Duchi for a bespoke menswear consultation. And check out the new Georg Jensen collection β which comprises unique creations by Vivianna Torun BΓΌlow-HΓΌbe. Inspired by the natural world, the release celebrates “Torunβs trailblazing work in revolutionising modern jewellery by challenging traditional notions of design and femininity in the mid-20th century.”
