Egg Hunt

Seek the garden for something truly egg-ceptional from Fortnum’s and Ladurée.

The search is on. From rummaging in hedgerows to solving hidden clues, the Easter Egg Hunt is a holiday highlight. This year, make memories with true chocolate treasure: Fortnum’s treats are artisanal reimaginings of the classic egg (for grown-ups too), while Ladurée’s Easter edit evokes a whimsical, imaginary garden — where perhaps the most extraordinary egg hunt could take place.

Harrie’s Golden Praline Eggs from Fortnum & Mason showcase the brand’s exceptional craftsmanship and flair for indulgence. Six real hen eggs are delicately hollowed, painted fairytale gold, and filled with rich praline milk chocolate. “Simply crack as you would a real egg and enjoy the creamy hazelnut deliciousness hidden inside,” Fortnum’s instructs. Playful luxury and true attention to detail: we would expect nothing less.

For the big kids, the boutique offers indulgent treats too, including the La Dolce Pistachio & White Chocolate Easter Egg. “Inspired by the romance of Italy in spring, this elegant Easter egg is crafted from creamy white chocolate blended with nutty pistachios,” it notes. Authentically crafted in Italy, the dessert reveals a delicate, luxurious surprise inside…of fragrant rose petals and whole pistachios.

Ladurée, this year, presents the image of a garden brought to life through sweet Parisian flavour. This sophisticated box of 18 macarons offers a charming hunt of its own, or in Ladurée’s words, “a refined stroll through delicate floral inspirations and exquisite craftsmanship: a luxurious celebration of spring, beauty, and sweet indulgence,” capturing all the spirit of the season.
