What makes visiting The Royal Exchange a special experience?

The Royal Exchange is a beautiful destination for luxury shopping in the financial district of London, which offers a change of pace in a more intimate setting.

What do you find most fascinating about The Royal Exchange’s 450-year history?

Upon entering the stunning, temple-like designed building, which has been the centre of commerce for centuries, you are transported to another time, rooted in history. It feels romantic, especially sitting at the Fortnum & Mason bar in the centre.

Do you have a favourite product from our 450th anniversary Exclusive Editions collection?

It would have to be the elegant Aspinal of London Elizabeth bag in chestnut printed croc leather, which feels like an ode to the Golden Era, yet timeless. As well as the colourful Montblanc grasshopper embossed leather notebooks – for returning back to busy life, to keep my notes and thoughts organised.

What inspires you most about London?

The multi-cultural diversity in the city juxtaposed with its long-standing traditions and architecture. There is always something new to discover in this great big city, which offers an abundance of experiences, new and old, at the centre of the world.

What are you most enjoying about life in the city post-lockdown?

The energy of the city and its people, the excitement is tangible – you can feel us all coming alive again. We are reconnecting with our friends and family, with a new-found appreciation for life and one another.

How would you describe your personal style?

I’m a chameleon in style. I navigate through trends with a classic approach, I’m not afraid of fashion and testing different looks. I find joy in discovering new designers and supporting many British-based brands.

Are there any summer 2021 fashion trends you are particularly excited about?

After a year of living in loungewear, I am looking forward to embracing femininity back into fashion.

Where is your next trip planned and what travel essentials can you not live without?

As soon as the kids are off school, we’re all headed back to Chicago, where I’m from, to be with family. And then The Hamptons to be with friends. It will be an all-American summer; I love bringing my kids back to my roots.
